Who is responsible
Casa Chula Oaxaca, Playa Tierra Blanca, C. Las Palmas, 70934 Santa María Colotepec, Oaxaca, Mexico (“Casa Chula”, “we”), is responsible for the personal data you share with us, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and, for guests in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What data we collect
- Identification and contact details: name, email, phone number and country.
- Reservation details: dates, number of guests, room preferences and special requests.
- Payment details, which are processed by our booking engine provider (Cloudbeds) and its payment partners — we do not store card numbers on this website.
Why we use it
- To manage your booking, check-in and stay.
- To answer your questions sent by WhatsApp, phone, email or Instagram.
- To plan events such as weddings when you request it.
- To comply with legal and tax obligations.
We only send you promotional messages if you have asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
Cloudbeds (booking engine and reservations), WhatsApp/Meta (if you message us there), Microsoft Clarity (anonymous website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies) and the authorities when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights (ARCO)
You can access, rectify, cancel or oppose the use of your personal data, and withdraw your consent, by contacting us on WhatsApp or by phone at +52 (954) 166 8454. EU residents also have the rights to data portability and to lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.
